That Special Time of Year
Christmas is always a special time for families especially so for children as they gaze beneath the tree on Christmas morning. I will always remember the Christmas morning I opened one of my presents to find a set of electric trains.
As an adult, I'm amazed how facinated many of us still are by electric trains. I think it's because it takes us back to better times and the fun and warm memories we have of being with our family and friends on that special day.
I'm sure you and your family have many great memories of past Christmases. I hope this one will bring you and your children the same joy I experienced when I got my first set of electric trains many, many years ago.
Here's wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Putting up a train around the Christmas tree is a tradition that's been going on for as long as I can remember. What has changed is the size of the train itself. Nowadays the most popular 'tree train' are the G-gauge train. These are the big boys of the model train world and some come with a big price tag. But it's not that bad when you consider they can last a lifetime.
Here are some choices:

caboose, three straight FasTrack track sections, eight curved FasTrack track sections, a FasTrack terminal section, PowerMax Transformer, smoke fluid.
Note: This is an O-scale train which is smaller than the G-gauge trains mentioned above. However, it is still a good sized train set which many prefer because it takes up less room. There are more O scale options on the Popular Train Sets page.
